   Someone thought of a nice angle on the illegal immigrant thing:
   They're not really immigrants at all, see! "They" were here first!

   That's always been, to me, in the category of silliness related to the
   use of the tern "Native Americans." Native American? I was born here,
   too. So I'm a native American. What about it?

   But here's [1]another angle on the issue, from David Yeagley at
   FrontPage magazine:

     [S]ome Mexicans want the land back. As a Comanche Indian, I have a
     problem with that.

     We Comanches pushed the Spaniards out of Texas and eastern New
     Mexico over 200 years ago. Neither Spaniards nor Mexicans ever
     managed to return.

     Comanches used to ride across the Rio Grande every fall to attack
     Mexican villages, killing, scalping, plundering and carrying off
     captives and livestock.

   Not that there's anything wrong with that. Yeah, see, it gets really
   complicated, doesn't it? (Via [2]But I Am a Liberal blog.)
