   The phrase "you can't go home again" always seemed strange to me until
   I realized what it usually means: it's not that you can't go back to
   where you grew up or back to family members, but, the older you get,
   the harder it is to find your way to those places that were there when
   you were young... because they're often gone.

   Radar at Stryker's Daily Briefing remembers [1]the old volunteer fire
   department of his youth, which is still there but no longer the same.
   And Ben Kepple remembers his [2]long lost Kalamazoo.
