   The Futurist has an extraordinary look at a [1]Pew Research poll of
   world attitudes about the United States. There's lots there, so I
   suggest you read the whole thing, but, one thing stood out:

   Internationally, the most clearly pro-American country in the world
   (besides America itself) is India, with well over 60% of India's 1.1
   billion citizens viewing the United States favorably.

   Ironically, President George W. Bush is more popular in India than he
   is here.

   But... but... India is ruled by [2]President A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, a
   devout Muslim! A man who reads the koran every day, and occasionally
   looks at the Hindu scriptures. Come now, we should all just accept
   that India, led by President Kalem, has a secret plan to impose
   dhimmitude on the West, America in particular. I mean, isn't it
   obvious?
