Idol Thoughts 3/7
http://www.deanesmay.com/posts/1141774095.shtml
I'll be at work tonight during American Idol but will watch it when I
get home in the morning and will post my thoughts. Feel free to
comment here until then.
I'm seriously hoping to see Taylor Hicks break out big this week,
although I don't know if he'll be performing tonight or tomorrow.
By the way, I see that [1]at least one other person shares my
suspicion that Taylor has a mild case of cerebral palsy. To be more
specific, I'm guessing it's a mild hemiplegia, probably affecting his
left side, and probably treated very successfully when he was a child.
It's just a guess of course, and I may be completely wrong, but it's
interesting to me that I'm not the only one who noticed that his
slightly odd movements appear to be more than an act. Regardless,
they're not that bad and people need to get over it. (Since I have
Tourette's Syndrome myself, perhaps I'm a little more tolerant than
others but yeesh, some people need to get over it.)
Anyway I'm looking forward to tonight's episode. I just hope it's not
as boring as last week. I suspect it won't be, the contestands must
know they've got to kick it up several notches if they're going to
win.
