   So, I sent my sister a link [1]in which Adam Blickstein gets
   editorially gang-raped. Patrick Nielsen Hayden got lose in the
   comments section and looked for split infinitives in every orifice. It
   inspired the following conversation

   [sister]: thank you for the laugh i must say , however, that i am
   rather fond of split infinitives

   Andrew: heh which you can plausibly do in English... but can't
   possibly do in Latin...

   [sister]: which is one thing we have over the Romans though they have
   much, much more

   Andrew: that an definite articles

   [sister]: articles are cumbersome

   Andrew: but if they don't get written, what will we use between ads in
   magazines?

   [sister]: hahaha
