"Submission 2": The Netherlands As A Protest Target
http://www.deanesmay.com/posts/1149700314.shtml

[1]"Submission 2", - an upcoming film written by Ayaan Hirsi Ali that
focuses on Islam's views toward homosexuality - can turn the
Netherlands and its economic interests abroad into a target of
worldwide anger by Muslims. The Netherlands can be the victim of
similar protest actions, as happened with the Danish cartoon
controversy, and even terrorist attacks. That is the conclusion
presented today by the National Threat Coordinator in its report on
terrorism and radicalism (article in Dutch, hat tip: [2]Ayaan Hirsi
Ali Blog). Ministries in Holland are mapping which measures must be
taken when the film comes out later this year.

Ayaan Hirsi Ali, a black moderate-conservative feminist,
   former-Muslim-turned-atheist, best-selling writer, former politician,
and vocal critic of Islam, has explained that the sexual constraints
on the freedom of Muslim men is the focus of "Submission 2".
"Submission" (2004) - which argued that Islam legitimizes violence
against women - created violent response in the Muslim world and an
Moroccan-Dutch Muslim extremist later murdered filmmaker Theo van
   Gogh.

My response: Ayaan Hirsi Ali will have probably completed her
anticipated move to USA (to work for the American Enterprise
Institute) when the sequel comes out. If Muslims got this upset about
slavery and genocide of blacks by Arab Muslims in Sudan and
Mauritania, we might get somewhere on that issue. The underlying
thrust of the Dutch entity's warning is the expectation that Muslims
will be barbaric, instead of peacefully articulating their
disapproval. Such mayhem would only reinforce Ayaan Hirsi Ali's point
that adherents of Islam tend to be unable to hear critical evaluations
of their religion, as people ranging from Christians to Hindus to
atheists regularly do about their beliefs.
