   In honor of 6/6/06, Eric Scheie notes that the dean of Guilford
   Cathedral, which was featured prominently in the 1976 classic "The
   Omen," is [1]blasting the original movie and its remake for scaring
   people, and in the meantime notes that by coincidence(?) the Saudi
   regime has put down a recent mandate against sorcery within the
   Kingdome. No kidding.

   Nice to see the Saudis have at least made it as far as the 17th
   century. It's progress of a sort....
