   I'm a big fan of [1]this book. Apparently al-Zarqawi isn't - which is
   a good thing for those of us who are fighting for peace in the Middle
   East.

   Zarqawi has released a tape of rants in which he calls for the Sunnis
   to commit mass suicide in Iraq. He doesn't come right out and order
   them to drink deeply from the Kool-aid jug, but calling Shiite cleric
   al-Sistani an "atheist", and urging the minority Sunni to take on the
   majority Shi'a (he doesn't mention the Kurds, but I doubt he thinks
   too highly of them (they are Sunni, but not Arab - which probably
   twists his knickers)), is a call for mass suicide.

   How? I firmly believe that if the US fled Iraq like Congressman Murtha
   (D-PA), Sen. Chuck Hagel (R-France) and the entire Democratic Party
   demands, the Kurds and Shi'a would wipe the Sunnis out and chase the
   remnants into Jordan. The US isn't fighting a war: it's refereeing -
   or rather - keeping two parties from slitting the throats of a third
   party. It's not Vietnam: we're in Bosnia again - just this time the
   "Serbs" are a minority and the "Croats" and "Bosnians" are better
   armed and more p-d off.

   Here's some of his latest blatherings:

     "There is no difference between Shiites of Iran and the Shiites in
     the rest of the Arab world either in Iraq, Lebanon. their beliefs
     are the same .. their hatred of Sunnis is the same," he said,
     adding, "The roots of Jews and the Shiites are the same."

     "Anyone calling for reconciliation between Sunnis and Shiites is
     either a man who knows the truth but is betraying his religion and
     his nation ... or a man who is ignorant and should be taught," he
     said.

     He said Shiite leaders in Iran and Lebanon â including the
     Hezbollah guerrilla movement â only pretend to confront Israel and
     the United States. He mocked Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad
     for "screaming and calling for wiping Israel from the map," but
     doing nothing, referring to anti-Israeli comments earlier this
     year.

   Gotta love that Muslim call for unity. In just one tape he slams
   Sistani, Iran "President" Ahmanottanutjob, Hezbollah and the entire
   Shiite religion. Wow! Once again al-Zarqawi shows exactly what he is:
   a street thug that lacks the finesse of the lowliest mafia boss and
   the street-smarts of your average dope peddler.
