   So, SF author Dan Simmons (Hyperion) writes a long [1]essay in April
   about a fictional Time Traveler from the future, who comes back to
   2006 to warn his own grandfather about the inevitability of Eurabia
   and dhimmitude. I write a [2]lengthy response taking issue with two
   central assumptions of Simmon's piece, and leave a [3]link at his web
   forum. After some abuse by the regulars, Simmons drops by and
   [4]argues semantics about the meaning of the word Islamophobe. I write
   [5]another reply, explicitly disavowing any implication that he has an
   irrational fear of muslims and again invite him to address my points.

   How does the grand adventure end? How will Simmons respond to these
   overtures of dialouge? Can a hard and cynical heart indeed be melted
