   I try very hard these days to stay out of cross-blog wars. If I get
   into a mix involving other bloggers at all, I usually try to restrict
   to one or two postings and then out--and I try hard not to think I
   have to have the last word. In the recent skirmish involving Jeff
   Goldstein and Deb Frisch, I figured maybe Frisch was drinking or
   having a bad emotional episode and would in good time correct herself,
   because she was obviously unhinged (and that can happen to anyone by
   the way, and might have involved things that didn't even really have
   to do with Goldstein).

   Still, the apparently retaliatory DoS attacks were bad enough, and the
   [1]whitewashing of what happened exactl is really wrong.

   Advice to Frisch and her friends: don't try to defend the
   indefensible. While it's just words on a screen words can hurt and
   words can scare. So just be honest. You'll get more respect that way,
   for yourself and your friends.
