   Fred notes that a lot of people plan to do what they can to support
   Joe Lieberman in his Senate run this year, [1]even, maybe especially,
   if he runs as an Independent.

   I sure as heck will. Normally I'd stay the heck out of another state's
   elections, assuming them to be none of my business, but Lieberman is a
   man of national stature and is in my view a national treasure. The
   Senate needs him, and his party definitely needs him even if they have
   to get trounced by him to see it.
