   Hey, am I misreading this latest Day By Day cartoon? [1]day by day
   cartoon about sam's mom

   Am I misreading this--or have I missed some previous comics--or is
   Sam's mom Japanese?

   That would be very cool if it were true, although I'd wonder where she
   got the red hair.
