   Mexico is holding national elections toda. By tomorrow morning they'll
   likely know who their next President is, as well as what their
   legislature will be composed of for the next few years, plus some new
   Governors and Mayors.

   It's really none of my business who the Mexicans choose to be their
   leaders, but I do hope they don't put the [1]PRI candidate into the
   Presidency. A century of misrule by that party is directly responsible
   for most of that country's problems so far as I can see. Anything
   which further loosens their stranglehold on power is a good thing.

   But honestly, so long as the elections are free and fair and with a
   minimum of corruption or mistakes, all of Mexico wins, and so does
   humanity. This is true whenever and wherever real free elections are
   successfully held.
