   I said a while (in a comment) back that I didn't really care all that
   much about shiny new graphics, what made a game better for me was A)
   new, more immersive interface B) Better AI. My doubt is that any of
   the new systems will allow better AI to be written, and therefore we
   won't be seeing games improve all that much...

   So, the AI writer for [1]Galactic Civilizations 2 has a blog. In a
   [2]recent post, he talks about the new AIs that can be written using
   to take advantage of new PC architecture. It's a fascinating post, and
   I can't wait to see how these ideas are carried forth.

   I've included a picture, and I kinda hope it represents a reality. One
   of the things we notice in game theory is that when people have to
   play the same game (say: prisoner's dilemma) repeatedly, they are
   radically nicer to each other than when its a one shot. AIs that
   remember how you behaved from game to game could be useful empirical
