     civilians.

     I see debates among Iraqis -- often angry and sometimes divisive --
     but arguments characteristic of political discourse, not political
     breakdown.

   Hey, remember that stuff about how the administration was "not
   listening to the generals?" I hope we don't make that mistake with
   guys like Abizaid and Caldwell.
