   In sort of but not really related news, the RealClimate folks display
   their usual integrity in a discussion of [2]public perceptions of
   global warming and the essential difference between climate and
   weather. No, they do not argue - and in fact they explicitly disavow -
   the claim that Hurricane Katrina was the result of global warming.
   But. well, read it.
