     Thus, I am confronted with a great paradox. I, the Christian
     pacifist peacemaker, am alive, am free [1]because of the very
     institutions I believe are contrary to Christian teaching.

   Also, it's a little weird and egotistical to go around announcing
   you're a "peacemaker."
   I doubt the episode will matter, in terms of changing his perspective.
   Still, I do wonder if one gains a deeper appreciation of irony when it
   involves saving your life.
