   Scientists have apparently uncovered a major [1]fish-to-land
   intermediary fossil that they've named Tiktaalik. It's got what they
   say are fins which are clearly evolving toward limbs.

   The only thing odd about the story to me was the curious dig at the
   Intelligent Design folks. Am I the only one who finds such
   out-of-left-field statements curiously defensive and obsessive?
