   So, here's a [1]story of a scientist who wants 90% of the human race
   to die.

   The creepy, death-embracing, anti-humanist impulse is alive and well I
   see.

   What's worse is, as we've seen, the equipment to tamper with viruses
   gets cheaper and cheaper, and easier and easier. $10,000 equipment
   that a grad student can operate can now be used to create or modify
   viruses in a lab. That equipment, just like computer equipment, keeps
   getting cheaper and easier to use and more sophisticated. Almost no
   one is taking this seriously.
