	I underwent the Rite of Election today. It was
	pretty cool, even though sadly I had no family
	present with me. Still, the community was with me,
	and that was neat all by itself. The ceremony was
	overseen by archbishop and cardinal Adam Maida.
	Neat guy, and funny too. It was in downtown Detroit
	off Woodward Ave, at the home parish of the
	cardinal. The Archdiocese of Detroit has been
	active since the 1830s and is one of America's
	oldest....
