	If you live in Michigan, one of the strangest
	quirks we have is that you can register to vote as
	either a Democrat or a Republican during primary
	elections, but, none of your votes in the
	Democratic primary are counted. If you want to have
	a voice in Democratic politics, you have to attend
	special caucuses set up privately by the party.
	Literally, your vote in the primary is simply
	discarded....
