   [1]St. Maximos' Hut is a new group blog devoted to the relationship
   between religion and economics. (Hat tip to [2]The Corner.) A recent
   [3]post explores some similarities between the conception of
   theological understanding prevalent in the Orthodox Christian
   tradition and F. A. Hayek's conception of how spontaneously evolving
   institutions encapsulate dispersed information that is unavailable to
   any single individual or authority. I have argued elsewhere that
   Hayek's account of tradition bears some interesting similarities to
   the view of tradition associated with Roman Catholic theology (see
   [4]here and [5]here).
