	I was a liberal for many years and am now a
	conservative. I'm also a philosopher, so I'm both
	trained and inclined (not to mention paid) to
	reflect on concepts, categories, and distinctions.
	It seems to me that the main divide between
	liberals and conservatives is attitudinal in
	nature. Conservatives have an attitude of respect
	for authority; liberals don't. Actually, it's worse
	than this. Liberals not only don't respect
	authority; they try to break it down and destroy
	it. Liberals are levelers....
