   Jerry wasn't a famous chess player, but he was a very friendly person
   whose presence at our local club was always enjoyed. Readers who live
   in my area may remember him and, like me, be shocked by the news. (I
   had seen him at the club a week or two before [1]his passing and he
   looked and acted like everything was fine.) Most of you won't have
   heard of him, but hopefully you know people like him at your club -
   better still, you are the person like him at your club.
   He'll be missed.
