   I'm guessing there must be some strange political or financial
   goings-on here; why else would FIDE not have given this not very
   important title to the blitz tournament that took place after the Tal
   Memorial last month? In 2007, that event was also the official World
   Blitz Championship, but now it's being given to [1]an event in Almaty,
   Kazakhstan on November 7 and 8. Here are the players so far, with four
   move to be named later:

   Rafael Vaganian (Armenia)
   Sergey Rublevsky (Russia)
   Teimour Radjabov (Azerbaijan)

   Boris Gelfand (Israel)
   Judith Polgar (Hungary)
