Tactics Time: Three for the price of one - solutions

Yesterday, I offered these three positions, all of which exemplify a
   common tactical idea:
   [alekhine_chajes_carlsbad1923.jpg]
   White to move and win
   [karpov_taimanov_ussr1977.jpg]
   Black to move and win
   [kamsky_kasparov_pca1994.jpg]
   Black to move and win
If you're still working on it, then don't click below; if you have, or
if you're after a (big) hint, proceed:

As many of you will have noticed, the winning motif in each case
involves a rook maneuver to the file where the enemy king is. Better
still, in each case the rook makes a double move from one end of the
long diagonal to the other (or very nearly so in the last puzzle).
That should just about solve them for you if you haven't already
discovered the solution, but you can find the full story [2]here.
