   Or Lviv, if you prefer. (Maybe some Ukranian can explain why sometimes
   one spelling/pronunciation is used, sometimes another. My guess is
   that "Lvov" goes back to the Polish era, but that's mere conjecture.)
   At any rate, FIDE President Kirsan Iljumzhinov has set that fine city
   as the site for the Topalov-Kamsky candidates match, and will fund it,
   if necessary, with his own money (probably read: FIDE coffers or
   Kalmykian taxes). The prize fund will be $750,000 US and the dates are
   November 26-December 14, 2008.
