Hello,
There is a new post on The Chess Mind. You can read it at:

http://chessmind.powerblogs.com/posts/1188280755.shtml

It begins:

Entering the last round, Movsesian and Akopian led,
with Ponomariov half a point behind. Akopian tried
the "official" drawing variation - the Marshall -
but Shirov accepted the pawn (good!), survived the
complications and won the game. Movsesian had to
suffer a bit against Timman, but he created an
unbreachable fortress and that game was drawn. He
needed that draw, too, because Ponomariov (also
with Black!) demolished Laznicka in a beautiful
attacking game, tying for first (but coming in
second on tiebreaks). Finally, there's a result I'd
rather not mention: Korchnoi lost (with Black) to
	Navara, concluding a terrible tournament....
