	These are confusing times for American sports fans.
	The NBA and NHL have (finally) completed their
	seasons. The NFL season is still months away. And
	despite the fact that the Major League Baseball
	season is in full swing, ESPN, everyman's guide to
	sporting relevance, is inexplicably giving
	prominent attention to soccer!! Sure, it's the
	World Cup. But Americans have historically thought
	of that as a euphemism for "Rest of the World - the
	parts without real sports - Cup." It doesn't seem
	natural for Americans to care about this event....
