Hello! Do you know me?....
http://www.antimedia.us/posts/1202080743.shtml

....I'm a liberal. I believe that all men are created equal, but I
don't buy the part about being endowed by the Creator and I don't buy
the "created" before equal either. I think that religious belief is an
individual decision that the State should not be involved in. I think
that individuals should be able to make their own choices about their
lifestyles without the State interfering in any way. I think that we,
as humans, are responsible for each other's well being, but we should
never intrude in each other's lives.
That leads me to the following conclusions.
   1) All people should have health care. The State should provide it,
and the State should [1]force everyone to participate, even if the
system is already [2]a proven failure.
   2) Smoking should be banned, because smoking is bad. People should
have no choice in the matter, both [3]in their businesses and [4]in
   their homes.
   3) Obesity should be [5]punished by law. If the government is going to
provide you with health care, you are responsible to ensure that you
are living properly so as to remain healthy.
   4) Drivers should have to [6]pay for every mile they drive regardless
of how fuel efficient their car is. So cars should be equipped with
GPS devices that allow the State to determine where you are at any
time and exactly how many miles you've driven.
   5) The State has no right to [7]surveil its citizens. After all
privacy is paramount. The State should not be prying into private
citizens' lives or telling them what to do.
   6) Abortion should be freely available. The State has no right to
limit or ban abortion. It's a personal choice. Even if a majority of
the citizens think otherwise, it does not matter.
   7) It's the State's responsibility to place its imprimatur on marriage
for alternative lifestyles. What the citizens want is irrelevant. It's
a matter of civil rights over which the people should have no say.
   8) I believe in women's and minority's rights, but we have no business
telling other countries how they should handle their citizens.
If you find any of my positions inconsistent or contradictory, you are
   clearly a [8]hate-filled, bigoted, radical right-wing hack who [9]must
be silenced because your positions are dangerous.
