....is like [1]shooting fish in a barrel.

In Part II (original here) of my exposing the anti-war folk in this
country for the lying manipulators they are, I'm going to expose
the TRUTH behind the whole "Mission Accomplished" issue when George
Bush was aboard the USS Abraham Lincoln
I've said it enough here about how the banner was designed by the
carrier group and provided by the White House. It was a symbol of
the mission that the group had accomplished - the longest
deployment for the carrier in history had come to a close as a
success. However, everyone that I've talked to who has tried to
convince me that Bush is a liar points to this banner. They say
that Bush declared success in Iraq over four years ago on that
carrier. They must have been watching TV with their volume muted
and couldn't take their eyes off the banner to come to that
     conclusion.
Bush was pretty clear about what was really accomplished:

Admiral Kelly, Captain Card, officers and sailors of the USS
Abraham Lincoln, my fellow Americans: Major combat operations in
Iraq have ended. In the battle of Iraq, the United States and our
allies have prevailed. (Applause.) And now our coalition is engaged
in securing and reconstructing that country.

It isn't just the left that repeats this lie. The media repeats it
constantly, without comment. Like many lies, it's become received
wisdom in the media, a "truth" repeated without thought or
   investigation.
