Amen "The Texan"
I just Faxed or Emailed all the Republicans who voted yea with this message:
I doubt your staff will pass this on to you --- But you REALLY need to read
what God has to say.
"The deceived and the deceiver are His," Job 12:16b
"He deprives the trusted ones of speech, and takes away the discernment of
elders,
He pours contempt on princes and disarms the mighty,
He uncovers the deep things out of darkness and brings the shadow of death
to light,
He makes nations great ( USA 1776 ) and destroys them (coming soon to a
nation near you )
He enlarges nations and guides them (USA 1776 - 1959)
He takes away the understanding of the chiefs of the people of the earth and
make them wander in a pathless wilderness." (USA 1960-2007) Job 12: 20-24
Why do you not trust those who actually know the word of God who have been
trying to advise you that you are so terribly misguided in the "Immigration
Bill" fiasco with ILLEGAL aliens?
I truly think you've all lost your collective minds.
You are Selling Our Birthright to the Liberals who will absolutely take over
the White House and both Houses of Congress in 2008. May God have mercy on
us.

If ever you needed proof....
http://www.antimedia.us/posts/1182912545.shtml
....that politicians [1]don't give a damn what you think (or about
this country), the recent cloture vote in the Senate provides the
proof.
The Senate voted 64-35 to bring the bill back to the Senate floor
from the legislative limbo to which it had had been exiled earlier
this month, when it appeared to die after a bipartisan filibuster.
Bill supporters needed 60 votes to bring the bill back to the floor
for debate. Had that threshold been missed, it's likely the bill
would have been dead for the remainder of the 110th Congress.
Opponents of the Senate immigration bill pushed hard for its defeat
on the procedural motion but fell five votes short, precisely the
number they were behind on Monday.
A similar test-vote earlier this month found just 45 supporters,
only seven of them Republicans. This time, 24 Republicans joined 39
Democrats and independent Sen. Joseph I. Lieberman of Connecticut,
to back moving ahead with the bill. Opposing the move were 25
Republicans, nine Democrats and independent Sen. Bernard Sanders of
Vermont.
So party means nothing. 25 Republicans, nine Democrats and Bernie
Sanders care enough about this country to vote against the execrable
abortion known as "fixing" the immigration problem. The rest are
craven hypocrites who don't give a damn what you, the people think. If
they did, with 80% of Americans opposing this bill, it would die the
death it so richly deserves.
If the House fails us as well, you can kiss America goodbye. In twenty
years your country will be gone. (Hat tip to [2]The Discerning Texan.)
