   ....about [1]reviving the ironically named "Fairness Doctrine". It's a
   peculiar penchant of our politicians to work hard to stifle opposition
   and debate. Oh, they don't call it that. They use the Orwellian term
   "fairness" (as if any politician gave a damn about being fair!) What
   they mean is, shut up. We're tired of hearing you. And since we have
   the power to shut you up, we'll use it. (See Campaign Finance reform.)
   I don't think the Fairness Doctrine has a snowball's chance in Texas
   of surviving, but who knows? I've made my position very clear. I will
   go to jail before I change the way I write or what I write about. I
   know what the First Amendment says.
