   ....the terrible loss of life of our troops in recent days. (Twelve in
   a helicopter crash, four in an IED strike, yada, yada, yada.) What
   they haven't told you is that [1]100 terrorists died in one recent
   operation in Iraq and almost 50 were captured. In several independent
   operations, [2]sixteen terrorists were killed and ten more were
   detained.
   None of this, of course, is news in America because it just wouldn't
   do to spoil the nation's mood.
