   intelligence, the WMD claims and the ties to Al Qaeda? Did you know
   that not one of those investigations found that the Bush
   administration "twisted" the intelligence in their "rush to war"?
   Did you know that the following claims were made about Sadaam's WMD
   program?

     · â3,000 â 11,000 litres of botulinum toxin, â
     · â6,000 â 16,000 litres of anthrax, â
     · âup to 5,600 litres of Clostridium perfringens, â
     · âthe "significant quantity of an unknown bacterial agent"
     · â550 Mustard filled shellsâ
     · âup to 450 mustard filled aerial bombs unaccounted for since
     1998 (The mustard filled shells account for a couple of tonnes of
     agent while the aerial bombs account for approximately 70 tonnes)â
     · âdifferent types of aerial spray or other devices capable of
     disseminating Mustard agentâ
     · â15,000 to 25,000 litres anthrax growth mediaâ
     · â10,000 litres of anthraxâ [already weaponized]

   Did you know that these claims were made before the UN not by Colin
   Powell but by Hans Blix just [2]mere days before the coalition entered
   Iraq?
   Yet many liberals and many Democrats continue to insist that Bush lied
   -- Bush deceived Congress -- Bush fooled the American public.
   The truth is, the liberals are lying. The Democrats are lying. They
   knew exactly what was going on when they approved the war. They knew
   that public sentiment was overwhelmingly in support of the war. Now
   they see political advantage in opposing the President and they could
   care less if what they do permanently damages this country in the eyes
   of the world. They are so corrupt that they've completely lost sight
   of what really matters.
   Now that things aren't going as well as they'd like, they want to give
   up -- to run away. In my book, that's what losers do.
   Not too long ago, one of my liberal readers, Eddie, asked,
   "um.....dude, are you still buying the "Iraqi freedom" crap?"
   Here's my answer. I'm not a sunshine patriot. I don't support my
   President only when things are going well. And I don't abandon the
   troops when they're in the fight. That's not what Americans do.
   We Americans have had many rough days in our past, but we never gave
   up before. (We didn't give up in Vietnam. We abandoned our ally.) If
   we give up on the Iraqis now, then we no longer deserve to be called
   the greatest nation on earth. We're just another nation full of
   cowards and selfish jerks. (Hat tip to [3]Brutally Honest.)
