Sometimes actions speak....

   ....[1]louder than words.

The Philadelphia Inquirer describes a very revealing moment at the
CAIR annual banquet, when Rep. Joe Sestak brought up the touchy
subject of condemning terrorists who murder innocent civilians in
the name of Allah: Sensitive political test for Sestak. (Hat tip:
     LSD.)

Near the end of the speech, amid clanking silverware and the burble
of table conversations, the former Navy admiral said it was not
sufficient for any group just to condemn terrorist acts.
He said it was CAIRâs duty to condemn individuals or groups that
commit terrorism, and he specifically mentioned Hamas and
Hezbollah. âItâs the same as those who did not speak out against
the perpetrators of Jim Crow laws . . . or the Holocaust,â he said.
The remark drew no reaction from the audience.

I applaud Sestak for demanding that CAIR specifically condemn Hamas
and Hizbullah. I wish more of our leaders would take such a stand.
It's not enough to condemn terrorism in general terms. We need more
leaders who will directly confront groups like CAIR that equivocate
and excuse and refuse to demand that Islamists behave like human
beings instead of animals. Sestak at least had the guts to name names
   while in the lions' den.
