   ....is when you claim there were [1]no ties between Saddam and Al
   Qaeda. Curt's post is too long to quote here, but the idea that there
   were no ties is so completely counter to the evidence that its denial
   can only be explained by insanity or a complete disregard for the
   truth.
   Of course you can ignore [2]the evidence or insist it isn't proof, but
   anyone with a lick of common sense will know you're an idiot.
   So when [3]the media does it, what are we to think? They're either
   stupid or they are abject moral cowards who are aware of the truth yet
   refuse to report it. What other explanation is there?
