I was looking through my site access stats....

   ....when I discovered I'd been named [1]Blog of the Week by Slugger's
   Blog. As far as I know, that's the first time I've received any
   recognition for my work (outside of blogrolling and linking).
   It's always amazed me that so many people read my blog, and I've long
   been amazed by how many have blogrolled me or linked to my posts. It's
   no longer possible to keep up with them all, but it was nice to come
   across this one. It's even nicer that he turns out to be a milblogger.
   Thanks, Slugger, and thank you for your service, sir.
   If you're going to the [2]Milblog Conference in May, make sure to say
   hello. I'll be one of the bald, old guys. With a moustache.
