   ....Never pick an argument with a guy who buys ink by the barrel. The
   aphorism was meant to warn foolhardy people not to goad the press.
   Perhaps the internet will spawn a new saying....Never misrepresent a
   guy who buys [1]electrons by the terabyte.
   Fed up with trying to get their message out through a media filter
   that twists the truth into pretzels, the Department of Defense has
   decided to simply bypass them and go straight to the people. Rather
   than responding to 2000 word op-eds with 200 word letters to the
   editor (sliced and diced by the editor before publishing), the
   Pentagon is now posting their response s, and the full transcripts of
   press conferences, to the web, where anyone can read what was said and
   see how the media distorts and misrepresents it. (Hat tip to [2]Winds
