   ....communist connections [1]has been uncovered by a diligent
   researcher using the nom de plume "Fedora". Some of my personal
   contacts believe they know who "Fedora" is -- "a guy who knows more
   about Marxist-Communist-etc. organizations and espionage than almost
   anyone else" and has written extensively on the subject of communist
   infiltration of the US.
   In any case, "Fedora", in a copiously footnoted article makes a strong
   argument that former California Senator Tunney (who you may recall
   carried Kennedy's proposal to the Russians and, by his own admission,
   made "numerous" trips to Russia) was actually a KGB agent.
