If you want to know how to fight a war....

   ....[1]ask a Marine.

We are never, ever going to learn that you canât play war nice. You
canât play war. You go in in an armed conflict, you kill people who
give you problems and people you think might give you problems
later if you donât kill them now.
Itâs bad, itâs mean, itâs dirty, itâs evil. It should be done only
as a last resort, but when you do, the provocateurs should know
that when our military comes at them, it will be the end of their
lives, in one way or another. In this way, we will have much fewer
cases that require the final option.

What the peaceniks never seem to understand is that if we fought wars
like they ought to be fought, there'd be a lot less of them. You go
in, kick ass, take names and leave nobody standing (of the enemy, not
the civilians, OK?) You leave a gaping, smoking hole where the enemy
   used to be.
Guess what the survivors do. Surrender...in a damn hurry, because they
don't want to be next. Look what Japan did after we dropped the bomb.
   They got the message.
The way we fight wars now (if you want to call it that) prolongs the
misery and ensures that the enemy will be back again in a few years,
ready to fight again. Look at all the stupid Islamofacists that think
they've won when they lost - like Hizbollah in Lebanon - it's because
Israel didn't kick their asses hard enough and long enough. They
should have driven right through that stupid country and killed
everyone pointing a weapon at them.
Pansy-ass war-fighting just leads to more death and destruction. In
the end, it's much more inhumane than a good old-fashioned
   ass-whuppin'.
