....Experts see [1]"little impact" from Hitler's death. In fact, it
[2]may cause an increase in violence.

Hitler was not a global mastermind like Kaiser Wilhelm, says the
BBC's security correspondent, Frank Gardner. Instead he was a
bloodthirsty and violent thug, who made enemies and several
mistakes that might have contributed to his downfall. These
included attacking the Soviet Union in violation of non-aggression
pact as well as declaring war on the United States in 1941, our
     correspondent says.
His death does not mean either the Nazi elements or nationalist
fighters will give up, says the BBC News's world affairs
correspondent, Paul Reynolds. Indeed his removal might well bring
about an explosion of revenge by his followers, he adds.

Hitler died on April 30, 1945. The [3]armistice was signed on May 8,
1945. This BBC article was published on April 31, 1945.
The thing that amazes me is that these "experts" are still available
for interviews, and pontificating about the impact of Zarqawi's death,
   after all these years.
For a completely different view of the impact of Zarqawi's death, read
[4]this AP article that reveals that the ranks of Al Qaeda terrorists
have been decimated. (Hat tip to [5]memeorandum.)
