Anything to the following?
A WorldNetDaily.com article:
It has only been eleven years and Congress is going to look into
whether there was a foreign connection to the Oklahoma City bombing
of the Murrah Building....Duhhh.
How about these somewhat overlooked facts, to start with:
1. More than twenty eyewitnesses ID'ed the photo of the third man
in the Ryder truck as Hussein al Husseini, and Iraqi, and a former
member of Unit 999 of the Iraqi Republican Guard who fought in
Desert Storm. The FBI declined to talk to him.
2. There is a large community of Iraqis living in OkCity.
3. Terry Nichols was the explosives guy and he made about twenty
trips to the Philippines to study explosives under Ramsay Youssef.
Ramsay Youssef was the explosives guy behind the first World Trade
Center bombing. R.Y. established Abu Sayyef in the P.I. Abu Sayyef
is a splinter group of al-Qaida. R.Y. is now in United States
custody. You can only wonder what he has talked about.
4. The dust had not settled at the Murrah Building and people were
still coming out of the rubble when the Bomb Squad came out with an
unexploded charge that had been attached to a support column in the
underground garage. It was Charge Number Two. Charge One had
detonated six seconds after the Ammonium Nitrate Fuel Oil (ANFO)
Truck Bomb went off. The University of Oklahoma seismic station
reported two blips on the Richter Scale, about six seconds apart.
TV station KFOR was on the scene talking to survivors and
established that there were two explosions. That was on DAy One. It
was never again mentioned. The official story was that it was Terry
McVeigh getting even for the government's attack on the Branch
Davidian's Compound one year to the day before. That's that.
5. When the last body was recovered from the rubble, it was hauled
away. Such a rush to clean up the site. Wouldn't want anybody from
CSI looking for explosive residue other than ANFO.
I've read, from time to time, that there were hints that the Iraqis
were involved in the OKC bombing. I've always felt that those leads
weren't pursued aggressively enough, for whatever reason.
When I began investigating these claims, after receiving this email, I
discovered that there is an active OKC bombing conspiracy community.
(I won't dignify their claims with links.) I even discovered that
there are some that believe Timothy McVeigh wasn't really executed --
that he was a government agent, his execution was staged and he was
paid a large sum of money to disappear. (Why a government that
supposedly doesn't hesitate to kill anyone who has knowledge they
don't want leaked would hesitate to kill McVeigh rather than paying
him off is never explained.)
Frankly, I don't have the energy to track down all the leads the
conspiracy crowds throw out. I learned a long time ago that man is too
corrupt, selfish and inept to maintain any large conspiracy for very
long. It's simply impossible to keep a secret when two people know it,
and the more people that know it, the harder it is to keep.
Are there unanswered questions in many investigations? Of course there
are. After all, even the investigators are humans and often have their
own prejudices that lead them to their conclusions. But I'm satisified
that Timothy McVeigh and Terry Nichols were involved in and
perpetrated the OKC bombing.
As to Iraqi involvement, I hope more work will be done on that angle
and it will finally be resolved. But it won't be by me.
