....when I heard a human rights activist denounce the death sentence
of Sadaam, claiming that he did not receive a fair trial. I couldn't
help but think that it's past time for citizens of the world to
marginalize these people by calling them the cowards that they are.
They masquerade as people who care about other people, but nothing
could be further from the truth. Any right-thinking, moral person
could not possibly condemn Sadaam's trial as unfair. Whatever flaws
may have existed in his trial they are more than offset by the
unfairness of his judgments upon the lives of the millions of people
   who died at his hand.
True justice means that society protects the innocent from the
predators. We do the best that we can to prevent the innocent from
being found guilty of crimes that they did not commit, but that
fairness cannot be morally extended to include releasing the guilty
through technical mistakes in a trial.
Particularly when the accused's guilt is not at all at issue, as it
was not in Sadaam's case, the complaints of those who demand
perfection in the legal system should fall on the deafest of ears. In
fact they should be roundly condemned as morally deficient individuals
whose opinions are so far outside the norm as to be considered
despicable. They should never be allowed the podium of international
media to voice their detestable views.
The fact that they are honored with the center stage at times like
these are a testament to how far our society has fallen from the path
   of righteousness.
