   ....my apologies for the complete silence over the past few days. I've
   been dealing with a serious crisis at work, and I've (literally)
   gotten about 10 hours sleep in the 72 hours before last night. I
   finally collapsed into bed at 8:30 last night and got up at 6:30 this
   morning, so I managed to duplicate the 10 hours of sleep that I had
   gotten in the previous 72 hours.
   As much as I would love to be able to blog full time, I do have a job
   and it does come first. Many people are depending upon me to be right
   and to be thorough and to not miss anything in my investigations.
   I may not be able to blog tonight either, but I should be able to
   return to my usual frequency by Wednesday. I do want you to know that
   I deeply appreciate the faith you have in me and your willingness to
   continue to frequent my humble little blog. It's a source of constant
   wonder to me that so many people keep coming back here. It restores my
   hope in the future of our country, because it reminds me that I am not
   alone in my thoughts and feelings about the greatness of our country,
   the magnificent military men and women who represent us around the
   world and the belief that some day we will get this thing called a
   democratic republic right.
