we also had some 13 million (or was it more?) in the military in WW II--and
it took two nukes to end it. That's all it would take now, come to think of
it--one on Teheran and one on Damascus. Harry, where are you?

....that one of the complaints we constantly hear is that the war in
Iraq has gone on longer than WWII. Really? WWII took four years to
reach a point of surrender, but the fighting wasn't over for some time
after that. The armistice was signed in 1945 yet we're still in
Germany 60 years later. We're still in Korea 50 years after that war
ended.
We've been in Iraq for three years. It seems to me that some people
need a little perspective.
