Some interesting observations....
http://www.antimedia.us/posts/1155353962.shtml
....about the London terror plot and other recent goings on. From
Heritage, [1]Lessons for Congress and [2]London Lessons from two
different scholars. From Don Surber, [3]Bush's plan works. From
[4]Michelle Malkin today, 40 people arrested on terrorism charges in
Italy. The US helped with -- wait for it -- electronic surveillance.
Electronic surveillance also assisted the Brits in breaking up their
plot, which [5]many are comparing to Oplan Bojinka, an aborted plan to
blow up 10 airplanes over the Pacific.
Here in the US, three Texan Muslims were arrested with hundreds of
cellphones after they rented a van and traveled to Michigan, [6]a
hotbed of support for Hezbollah. Two Muslims from Michigan were
arrested in Ohio with a similar load, and [7]one man in West Virginia
was arrested with hundreds of cellphones as well.
Are you seeing a pattern? Despite being "bogged down" in the
"quagmire" of Iraq and having our troops "over-extended", we seem to
be doing quite well at keeping the terrorists off balance, disrupting
their networks and plans and defeating their attempts to commit mass
murder.
We're doing this by doing the very things the left and Democrats
insist we should not be doing, as [8]I wrote yesterday.
Imagine that. Somehow we're managing to fight a war in Iraq, stand up
a democracy and, at the same time, monitor communications and finances
and break up terrorist plots all over the world.
