   ....[1]fascinating story about a blogger who's been found in contempt
   of court for refusing to turn over a video he took. It has all the
   standard journalism defenses, but one item caught my eye.

     Wolf has attracted supporters, including the American Civil
     Liberties Union and the San Francisco Board of Supervisors, which
     introduced a resolution objecting to the federal government's role
     in the investigation. The Society of Professional Journalists
     contributed to Wolf's legal defense fund.

   You can guess which side of the political fence he's on by his
   supporters -- the ACLU and the San Francisco Board of Supervisors, but
   wouldn't the Society of Professional Journalists support be a tacit
   admission that blogging is journalism?
