Liveblogging the First Annual Milblog Conference

   Some housekeeping notes. I attended an award ceremony Thursday and
   didn't get home until very late, had to pack and get to sleep so I
   could get up at 4AM to head for the airport. Yesterday was spend
   visiting some places in Washington, D.C. and driving down to my
   friends' house in southern Maryland, so I haven't had time to blog at
   all since Wedneday.
   Today I'll be blogging the Milblog conference, and I'm excited. I've
   already met CJ of A Soldiers Perspective and thanked him for prodding
   me to join the Milblog ring. I also met Dadmanly and made a couple of
   new acquaintances, hooked up with a PAO from Centcom and found out
   that their website is about to undergo some dramatic and really useful
   changes (in a couple of months.)
   They've been working on the video/audio feeds for some remote sites
   and working through several problems, so the start of the conference
   has been delayed, but heh, that's the military, right? Hurry up and
   wait. :-)
   More to come as the conference gets underway....
