	Summer just began, officially, but it’s been hot
	and dry in North Texas for several months already.
	We have two more months of oppressive heat; then
	things begin to change. September brings cool,
	northern air from time to time, which feels
	wonderful after the stifling heat and humidity of
	summer. By October, the weather is variable. It
	could be like July or like January, depending on
	which weather system is overhead at the time.
